Left with two leak problems after poor work from two other companies just a few months earlier. Found Dalton Roofing's website and discovered the business was well established for many years, read the reviews and contacted them. Even though very much in demand after recent storms, they gave me a quote date and Phil the business owner came out to look at the problems. He knew what was required, did not try to create extra work, and wrote a very acceptable quote on the spot. Had no hesitation in accepting. he said, we will do it tomorrow morning. As it turned out, Phil had a team free that afternoon, who came round and fixed the problems without any fuss or mess.All staff have been friendly and polite. This is a very professional company with customer service very much at the heart of what they do. Though my problems were relatively small, they treated me as a valued customer. If and when in need again, I will definitely be contacting Dalton Roofing.

Jake and Wes came yesterday to check out what they would need to replace my gutter and down pipe. They arrived today to fit my new gutter, explaining what they were doing and completed to job to an excellent standard. While we were chatting it turns out they are from the same place as me! We used dalton to fix around our chimney stack after leaks started to occur In our loft. Dalton were quick and effective with their service. Had the director come round to examine and give us a free quote within a day of ringing. Never had any problems since. thanks again.

Phil arrived on time & left a detailed account of the work that would need undertaking from the issues I’d described/he’d viewed at the property. There was also an email with the same details & cost sent out shortly after.The workers that arrived to carry out the repairs were very polite, arrived when they had been booked to come (unlike other roofers who unfortunately can be rather unreliable!) and did the repairs quickly and to a high standard with a minimum of interruption.The Dalton team are excellent and if definitely use them again in the future.

What initially was going to be a re-roof was scaled down after advice from Dalton Roofing. I found Philip to be polite, knowledgable and produced a quote that was much more reasonable. I'd already had a couple of people look at the roof already and he talked me through what the tiles were and his opinion of their lifespan, something the previous people quoting hadn't bothered to consider. Taking his advice and asking for the addition of some roof vents, the job was scehduled in for a few weeks later and completed within the week.They came back as I raised a concern regarding a tile which seemed out of line however after the site manager investigated it turned out to be an aesthetic issue specific to my roof and some previous work. I found that there was no hesitation to ensure I was happy and he had a thorough look to make sure all was well.The staff handling booking appointments and follow up kept me informed as to when the scaffolding would be removed and happy to help at all times.All in all, the cost overall halved because my roof is in good shape and looks much better following hips/ridges being repointed, moss removed by hand and vents put in. The site was left clean and tidy afterwards. I would certainly use them again, I found all people I spoke to friendly, professional and delivered what I'd expect.

We needed some roof repairs , including ridge repointing, chimney repair and replacement and repair of a number of slates.The quote was reasonable and at least half the price of two others.They managed to fit us in the same week and the two lads, Luke and rich were great, Completing each job to a high level and ensuring we were aware of each stage. Nothing was too much trouble and made sure we were completely happy with the work done. Their work has made a big difference to the house, with a great finish. Both lads went out of their way to give great customer care.We would fully recommend Dalton roofing. Excellent service.

Just had some repairs done to an old slate roof after recently purchasing a house. From start to finish Dalton we're professional, honest and punctual. Luke and Jordan made a great job of replacing our old slates with reclaimed slates. I would reccomend to anybody and would definitely use again. Outstanding service.

My cat was stuck on a neighbours roof for 17hrs Dalton roofing were the only company who helped rescue my cat and we rang a few. Most trades in Sheffield are super busy at the moment, but managed to get Dalton out to look at some flashing which was loose. They arrived when they said they would to assess what needed doing and arranged for a team the next morning to come round to repair. Great price, good repair, exemplary service. Cannot recommend highly enough (and no, I don't work for them!)

I have an old roof which has had many repairs over the years. I thought needed replacing but Philip said it could be repaired. Following an overhaul by Daltons it looks great and has lots more life in it.They replaced various missing and broken slates, replaced leaking guttering, replaced the felt on a bay window, and did some pointing. They are a very professional company that do good quality work with capable and personable employees. I have used various roofers over the years, these are the best by far. I would fully recommend them to anyone.

I contacted Dalton Roofing after a previous unreliable contractor had done a botched job of replacing the guttering at the rear of my house, and I was no longer able to make contact with them. Mr Philip Dalton himself came out to assess the work where overflow from the poorly attached guttering had caused soaking of my outer wall causing moss growth and damp problems internally. Mr Dalton kindly arranged for a team of his to come the very next day to sort out the problems.Craig and Angus duly arrived on time and undertook the work exactly as per Mr Dalton's work schedule. This involved replacing the guttering with a round type with properly spaced clips, and with a matching upvc facia board. Also fitting a new matching downpipe and a box hopper to catch the rainwater and prevent overflow from my neighbours property cascading onto my stonework. Craig and Angus also worked efficiently to wire brush accumulated moss from my stonework and apply a spray to prevent regrowth. The work was completed professionally in one working day, and within a few days of making my first contact with the company. The cost was very reasonable and the work is guaranteed should any unexpected problems arise. I can wholeheartedly recommend Dalton Roofing based on my experience of them.

My parents had a leak from their Dormer window into their main bedroom. With them being elderly I wanted to ensure I used a professional reputable company. I gave Dalton roofing a call and arranged for Phil to come and have a look to see what work was required. Following Phil’s survey we quickly received a professional detailed quote with a description of the work that was required. As scaffold was required to carry out the work, we decided to have the facias and soffits replaced to the front of the house as they were looking a little tired.We were very pleased to have such a polite and professional team on site to undertake the work. They were very helpful and explained everything they needed to do before work started. They were a pleasure to have to do the work for us.Our thanks also go to Shannon in the Office who kept in touch with us at all times.We would have no hesitation recommending Dalton roofing.

On the strength of other reviews I gave Dalton Roofing a call, I only had a relatively minor repair that needed doing on my roof, but Phil came out to have and look was more than happy to book the job in. We've had a leaking gutter since we moved in around 3 years ago, and had been meaning to get it looked at as it was starting to cause some damp issues in one of the upstairs bedrooms. We called Dalton Roofing, and although we had wait a month for the initial visit, Phil turned up on-time, was very helpful, and diagnosed the issue straight away. We had a crew of 2 around the next morning who took the section of gutter down, cleaned it and then refitted with new sealant in less than 30 mins. Really happy with the service and would happily use again. Thanks!

Dalton roofing replaced the existing roofing felt and altered the fall so as to change how the roof drained,they had to remove the existing decking boards and then replace it once the roof work was completed,in all respects from the initial site survey to the work’s completion they were very professional and their work could not be faulted and we would certainly recommend them and would use them again if necessary

Needed work doing to my roof called at office of Dalton roofing in Chesterfield the office staff sent someone round the next day{friday] and after looking at the roof sent a team from Daltor roofing the next working day [monday] the guys arrived on the day did not waste any time they got up on the roof and started the work when they compleated the work the informed me what had been done .this is the first time I have used Dalton roofing but can recomend them every one was so helpfull and the work they did was first class

This is the second time we used Dalton roofing. In October 2020 they repaired our dormer. In March 2021 they sorted out a leak caused by some degraded felt. Everyone we have had dealings with from Dalton Roofing have been polite and professional. They clearly have high standards of customer service and work. On each occasion the roofers that attended our property have been approachable, knowledgeable and have been diligent. The work done was completed on time and within budget. They left the site tidy too with a good job done. Having had 2 jobs successfully done I would recommend Dalton Roofing without hesitation!

Phil came yesterday and Inspected our Guttering's that had recently started leaking and become loose. After some great advice it was arranged for a Team to come out the next day (!). I had a hole in my roof which was causing damp in my back bedroom.I contacted Dolton roofers. They came and performed a covid safe inspection of the hole and gave me a professional written quote.They attended on the day to fix, on time the got on with the job. Contacted Dalton roofing between Christmas and new year via the contact us form on their website which was easy to use. They contacted us the next working day to discuss the repair that we needed, and made an appointment for Phil to visit. They arrived on the day and time agreed by ourselves, they explained what was wrong and advised us on what they would need to do to repair the gutter. They then returned the next day to perform the repair. I contacted Dalton Roofing after being let down by another local roofer. The first thing that impressed me about this company was their excellent customer service. The job was booked in and the work carried out within the estimated timeframe. The young men who carried out the job worked hard, were polite and left the site clean and tidy, despite working in awful weather conditions. Initially , I was a little concerned that the job would not be up to standard given the weather, however the work carried out is excellent. This company really cares about its customers and providing customer satisfaction, something that you unfortunately don’t come across much these days . I will definitely use Dalton Roofing again and recommend to others.

Highly recommend \ very professionalA friend recommended Dalton Roofing, after I had tried a few roofers who either said the job was too small or arranged to come out but never turned up, so was at my wits end after being messed around. So I called Dalton and spoke with a lovely women who was very nice and she made me an appointment for a few days time. They came out on time to inspect the work and came out promptly the very next morning to complete the work, I can’t believe how effortless it was after my previous experience.I could not recommend them enough, they are very professional from making the appointment to completing the work. Im very pleased with the workmanship, a big thank you to Dalton for sorting this out... I will never use anyone else from now on, highly recommend.

We had our roof cleaned of a large build up off moss, gutters cleared and a small repair to the roof of our garage. This is our second time using Dalton roofing and I can only say how professional and hard working the lads were who came to do the job.The results look excellent and the cost was very reasonable for the time taken to complete. Phil and his team repaired a badly damaged roof for me. They corrected some extremely poor work that a previous company had carried out. From the offset Phil was professional, personable and kind. He carried out a thorough survey and produced a quote in a timely, organised way. His team, Craig etc were courteous and professional. They worked tirelessly to repair the roof and installed huge amounts of insulation and lead flashings to bring it to the required standard. All works were completed within a couple of weeks, they tidied away all the unwanted materials and left the job spotless. The office girls were extremely helpful and friendly and produced all paperwork, invoices etc promptly. Would not hesitate to recommend Dalton a roofing...a pleasure to deal with! Well done Phil and team!

Gave a review earlier not a very good one but the owners were on the case very quickly. Coming to set my mind at rest and guaranteed if it's not right they will make it so. Dont see it much these days and I was surprised. I'm pleased they take it more seriously than I thought they would. Have I turned into a grumpy old man ? Day after this review and they've been to inspect the job ,all is fine and it's probably just me over thinking the job. Team leader knew what he was talking about and they also offered to give us a refund. I of course refused it partly from embarrassment but if the jobs right that's the price and it wasnt about the money. I got my piece of mind and I'm very grateful. Thankyou Dalton Roofing.

Wow! What an amazing company. We wanted a quote to fix our bent guttering that was not catching the rain, but running down the wall. We did not want to pay for all new guttering at this time. Unbelievably Phil from Dalton roofing took a look at the job , arranged for the next day for his team to re-seat our gutter, seal the joints and clean them out, without any charge. Again wow, what a respectable company attribute Phil. Thank you Mr Lowell.

We have been using Dalton Roofing for a number of years and they have never failed to come up with the goods. They have successfully sorted out damp problems where others have failed. Phil, the MD, visits when he says he will and does what he says they will do. He puts customer loyalty above making the most money.We have also found all the staff to be helpful and efficient. This time it was a very small job but it received the same attention and we are pleased with the outcome, as always.
